These classes are designed specifically for adults of all ages, fitness abilities and clinical conditions. We use multimodal exercises to improve your cardiovascular fitness, strength, balance and flexibility while sitting in a chair. Training these 4 specific components of fitness is extremely important for functional healthy ageing! We give three versions of each exercise to make sure they are suitable for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of fitness.
For this class you will need:
- Free weights such as dumbbells and/or kettlebells. You can improvise with household items such as water bottles or tinned cans.
- A drink of water to sip on throughout the class.
