BodyWell

This is a multimodal exercise class which means that we include aerobic, strength, balance and flexibility into the one class. These classes are suitable for men and women of all ages and fitness abilities. It is specifically designed to improve the issues associated with ageing. We focus on improving your bone health, your muscle tone and strength, fitness, and wellbeing.

For each exercise in this class, we offer level 1 (beginner), level 2 (intermediate) and level 3 (advanced) versions of the exercise so that you can work at the level that suits you, and build up progressively over time. 

For this class you will need:

  • Free weights such as dumbbells and/or kettlebells. You can improvise with household items such as water bottles or tinned cans.
  • An exercise mat or fluffy towel.
  • You may need a chair to assist with some exercises.
  • A drink of water to sip on throughout the class.
