Thank you to the Physical Activity for people with Chronic Conditions (PACC) team for inviting Dr Diane Cooper to sit on the expert panel at the launch of a national qualification, competency, and accreditation framework for exercise instructors working with people who have long term chronic conditions. Diane has worked as a clinical exercise physiologist in this space for 20 years. EduFIT have provided evidence based programmes in this regard for many years, but more are needed nation wide. This framework is a very positive step towards new specific qualifications, more qualified professionals and importantly many more exercise opportunities for people living with long term chronic conditions in Ireland.

A massive congratulations to the PACC team for the fantastic work they have done to drive this forward in Ireland. We are looking forward to a bright and healthy future.
