I would like to take this opportunity to share my appreciation for the EduFIT team for the fantastic 'MenoWell' programme that I am taking part in. This fantastic programme should be available to all perimenopausal and menopausal women. As the EduFIT team have shown, weight bearing exercise can slow bone loss, lowering the risk of fractures and osteoporosis. Flexibility training promotes better muscle function giving a greater range of motion. All this has huge benefits not only for us women but vitally on our health services reducing the need for intervention as we age. This programme promotes such positivity around a time in a woman’s life that up to now has been completely overlooked. I can attest to the huge benefits of this programme and hope to partake in more in the future. The ladies involved are so committed.

I'm really enjoying all aspects of the course, the talks are so interesting and the classes have really encouraged me to get the mat out and do a class even when not being tutored - this is something I would have never done so thank you so much. Keep up the good work ladies - ye are all fantastic.

The exercise classes, I wasn't sure if I would like them/if they would be too difficult but I really enjoyed them and how they were adapted for beginner/advanced.

The most important thing I learnt was how vitally important the right type of exercise and movement is to women in menopause. I enjoyed this particular course because it was specific to me, was delivered by professional women, everyone was in the same boat and there was no pressure to look or perform a certain way. I really appreciate this being available to me and will look forward to any future courses, thank you for providing it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole programme and would do it again. It was very clearly explained about how the exercise classes support healthy bones and body during and after menopause. The modules provided clear, concise and excellent information on the menopause and what we can do to help improve/maintain a healthy lifestyle.
