Women’s Health Matters! New EU project

We are delighted to announce that we have secured Erasmus+ funding! Erasmus+ is the EU programme supporting education, training, youth, and sport across Europe.

Our project, “Women’s Health Matters,” will focus on creating a digital platform dedicated to education and lifestyle medicine for women in midlife, menopause, and beyond. The goal is to empower women across Europe to take control of their lifelong health. We will be developing a co-created, multidisciplinary digital course designed for women at all stages of menopause, especially those facing barriers to education, including economic or geographic challenges, disabilities, cultural differences, and chronic health conditions. Alongside this, we will also create a “Train the Trainer” programme to support health professionals working with these women.

EduFIT is proud to lead the project, working in partnership with organisations from across Europe including Zdrowy Kształt (Poland), FREYR Institute Denmark (Denmark), The Hive Group (Greece), and APS Brainery Academy (Italy). We recently had our first virtual meeting, and we are already looking forward to coming together in Poland this June, the energy and passion from everyone is incredible!

The Women’s Health Matters project is funded by the European Union through Erasmus+ and supported in Ireland by Léargas.

Exciting times ahead for women’s health in Europe 💫.
