For the exercise classes, you can choose from:

Flexible participation options are available to help you fit the programme around your schedule.

Exercise Classes

Prime Time for Farmers: A multimodal exercise class combining aerobic, strength, balance and flexibility exercises. Each exercise includes Level 1 (beginner), Level 2 (intermediate) and Level 3 (advanced) options, allowing you to work at a level that suits you and progress over time.

Stretch & Mobility: A class focused on flexibility and mobility exercises. Improving flexibility and mobility can help reduce pain and stiffness and may support injury prevention.

LIFT: A full-body strength training class. You will need two weights of equal weight, such as dumbbells or household items like water bottles.

What equipment do I need?

For floor-based exercises you will need an exercise mat.

For all classes except for ‘Stretch & Mobility‘ you will need two weights of equal weight e.g. dumbbells or household items such as water bottles or tins.

Health masterclasses

The health masterclasses are delivered live online by the EduFIT team at 1pm every Thursday and cover key topics related to farmer health and healthy ageing. After each session, participants receive access to the recorded masterclass along with notes and supporting resources. The programme is based on evidence-based lifestyle medicine practices.
