MenoWell | Laois Sports Partnership & Healthy Ireland
- 2 * 40-minute live online women- and menopause-specific multimodal exercise classes per week – Mondays and Thursdays at 8pm.
- 1 * 30-minute live online women- and menopause-specific health education masterclass per week – Wednesdays at 7pm.
- An on-demand library of women- and menopause-specific exercise videos and nutrition recipes, as well as recorded health education workshops.
The 30-minute health education masterclasses are delivered by experts via Zoom and focus on different topics relating to women’s health and the menopause journey including muscle, bone, and cardiovascular health, healthy nutrition, sleep hygiene and self-care. These are recorded so you can watch them back at any time throughout the 6-week programme.
Please note, you will be asked to complete a short-answer online questionnaire before and twice after the 6-week programme to determine the efficacy of this programme on physical activity participation. All information is kept strictly private and confidential, and only group averages will be shared with the programme funders (no identifiable or individual data will be disclosed).

Personal data provided in the sign-up form will be reviewed by Dr Diane Cooper from EduFIT, a clinical exercise physiologist and qualified phase IV cardiac rehabilitation specialist, who may provide private exercise counselling to participants living with clinical conditions before the 6-week programme commences.
